Advent Calendar

I saw this idea on twitter and thought it was a bit daft but thought I would try it with a class to see what happened. Rather than using mini whiteboards or pieces of sugar paper you use the student desks to write on. I was amazed about how motivated the students were in doing quite a basic task just because they were able to write on the desks! It worked really well. The key is for students to use whiteboard pens and for you to have some cleaning spray ready for the end of the lesson!

 

Maybe not something to do everyday but an excellent way to motivate and excite students.
